Wed. | Jan. 4 | Global Leadership Adventures (GLA) Presentation
Who: Any Scholar interested in traveling abroad to engage in a service project. Global Leadership Adventures offers teen community service summer programs abroad.  Programs are open to students from all over the world between the ages of 14 and 18.

Sat | Jan. 7 | Exam Prep for 2015 Scholars
Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
Location: Drucker Center, 1535 North Dayton Street, Chicago, 60622
Who: This event is a mandatory event for 2015 Scholars attending: Fenwick, Francis Parker, Holy Trinity, Marist, Mount Carmel, Roycemore, Trinity, Woodlands and Chicago Waldorf.

Sat | Feb. 18 | DMSF Mentor/Mentee Chicago Wolves Game
Time: 7-9 p.m. (meet at DMSF at 6 p.m.)
Location: Meet at DMSF. We will travel to the Allstate Arena together in buses and return to DMSF after the game.

Monday | Feb. 20 | Summer Opportunities Fair  
What:   A mandatory event for all members of the Class of 2015. An opportunity for Scholars to learn about programs, internships and camps for the summer. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to attend.                                                                                                                                                                                   Time: 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Location: De La Salle Institute, 3434 South Michigan in the Student Commons. Parking is available immediately North of the school or on Michigan Avenue.

Sat. | April 28 | All Scholar Service Day  
What:   This year all 2015, 2014 and 2013 Scholars will participate in a service project organized by the DMSF Schmitt Scholars. This event is mandatory for all 2013, 2014 and 2015 Scholars.                                                                                                                                                                                   Time: TBD
Location: There will be four to five service projects throughout the city. Scholars will have the opportunity to choose which project they participate in. Projects will take place on Saturday, April 28th and Saturday, May 5th. Scholar will only need to participate in one day of service. Scholars will receive details about projects and be able to sign up for a project via email in late winter.                                                                                                                                                                                           Contact: Ms. Hallums (cindy@dmsf.org)
