Caddie Program
Sophomore, junior and senior scholars in good academic standing may apply for the DMSF summer caddie program, which is designed to help students:
obtain job experience,
earn income,
gain self-reliance,
benefit from exposure to persons from a range of professional backgrounds,
and qualify for an Evans Scholarship to college.
During the nine-week program, caddies live in dorms - males at Lake Forest College and females at Dominican University. For most of our Scholars, this is the first time they have been away from home for an extended period of time.
Scholars learn to act independently and live with students from different ethnic backgrounds. Adult counselors supervise the caddies' daily activities, transport them to and from the golf clubs, and coordinate guest speakers.

Eligible Caddie Program participants have the opportunity to apply for an Evans Scholars college scholarship, a prestigious and highly competitive national award. Each year more than 800 caddies from across the country receive a grant from the Evans Scholars Foundation that pays full tuition and housing at one of 14 major midwestern universities. The scholarship program is sponsored by the Western Golf Association.
