Dear Scholars and Parents,
On Election Day, we understand today may be a stressful time for Murphy Scholars and families.
We know that difficult conversations and debates are occurring across the country, including in our communities and in our classrooms. While we all strive for mutual understanding, we understand that the tension experienced by Scholars and families during these times is real and can be challenging.
In the spirit of our unwavering commitment to you, we want to remind you that we are here to discuss and process the different possible outcomes of the election. We are here to listen, we are here to learn and we are here for you, always! Please reach out to staff for anything you may need.
As an organization, over the last week, DMSF staff attended a special session with other non-profit organizations to discuss support for students over the course of the next few weeks. Our hope is that we can facilitate conversations during this challenging time. Please see a list of resources below:
