Whether you’re an experienced golfer or new to the game, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with the Murphy Alumni community on the course. Enjoy a day of golf, skill-building, and good company, including a golf clinic with Juan Espejo, a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start, and a BBQ lunch with time to mingle with fellow Murphy Alumni. Space is limited to 36 golfers and registration is first come, first served. If you have a specific foursome in mind, be sure to encourage your group to register as soon as possible! For over three decades, the DMSF Golf Classic has united Chicago’s golf community to support educational access for Murphy Scholars. Now, as the largest charitable golf tournament in the country, hosting over 500 golfers across seven prestigious North Shore golf clubs, the impact is even stronger! The event includes a full 18-hole golf round followed by a special reception and dinner celebrating the success of our Scholars and growth of the Murphy community. Your support and participation ensures DMSF can continue making a life-changing impact on our Scholars’ lives.

Our annual winter fundraiser, Soirée for Scholars, unites young professionals across Chicago in support of Murphy Scholars and the academic and professional programming that help them achieve success through high school, college, and beyond. It is a memorable night of heavy hors d´oeuvres, cocktails, dancing, silent auction, and a program, featuring Murphy Scholar Alumni and speakers. Together, we raised over $106K at the fourth annual Soirée for Scholars in February 2026! Keep an eye out for the fifth annual Soirée details coming soon!
