Kylia Kummer

Kylia Kummer brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, specializing in fundraising, board development, and strategic partnerships. Deeply committed to youth and educational equity, Kylia has dedicated her career to creating opportunities for youth. Her prior experience includes serving as the founding Executive Director of Thrive Scholars Chicago, as Managing Director of Turning the Page, and as Director of Institutional Giving at Chicago Children’s Museum.
Kylia holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from Hendrix College and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. A dedicated community advocate, she serves as Vice President of the Board for the Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation Org and was a founding board member of Lord & Angell House. As DMSF’s Chief Development Officer, Kylia looks forward to advancing its mission through innovative strategies and strong partnerships that support young people in achieving their full potential.
