Jennifer Delgado, Murphy Scholar Alum Class of 2005Congratulations to Jennifer Delgado, Murphy Scholar Alum c/o 2005, and Kevin Roche on tying the knot earlier this year! In celebration of their wedding, they asked friends and family to make a gift to DMSF in honor of their time at Fenwick High School, while Jen was a Murphy Scholar. Jen shared “I am so grateful for the support DMSF gave me and the work the organization did to help prepare me for success in high school, college and beyond. And I'm so glad we could give back in this way.”
Wedding guests made contributions via Jen and Kevin’s very own DMSF donation site, where they displayed photos of each other and told their special story. In total, around $5,000 was raised in support of educational programming and tuition assistance for current and future Murphy Scholars. If you are interested in hosting a personal DMSF fundraiser in honor of upcoming weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc., please reach out to Alina Gonzalez, Development Coordinator, at [email protected]. |
