Callie Cozzolino brings an impressive 13-year tenure in the nonprofit sector, showcasing a distinguished career with over a decade of executive management experience, to now her position as DMSF’s Donor Relations Consultant. Throughout her professional journey, Callie has consistently directed her efforts towards initiatives dedicated to empowering individuals in their pursuit of enhancing their lives.
With a noteworthy background as the former Executive Director of Canine Therapy Corps, an organization specializing in animal-assisted therapy, Callie exhibited exemplary leadership by overseeing a team of more than 100 staff and volunteers. Together with their therapy dogs, they rendered valuable services to approximately 10,000 individuals annually. Furthermore, Callie spearheaded the organization's inaugural capital campaign, successfully raising over one million dollars. Academically accomplished, Callie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Additionally, she has earned the distinction of being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with a Knowledge Assessed designation. Residing in Chicago alongside her husband Louie, son Coz, and their cherished pit bull Myrtle, Callie enjoys immersing herself in nature and learning Spanish.
