Two perspectives of support, a DMSF Board Member and a Murphy Scholar:

I fully and unequivocally support DMSF’s Equitable Education Program (EEI) and encourage you to join me in supporting this endeavor. This new scholarship initiative gives stakeholders the opportunity to support the excellence of Murphy Scholars with tuition assistance and program support through multiple levels in unique ways.

I was involved in the early review of this program and was impressed with the elements of EEI as it ensures Murphy Scholars receive access to high-quality education at college prep high schools, like my alma mater, Gordon Tech high school, now DePaul College Prep. My matriculation at Gordon Tech was pivotal in my personal development as it prepared me in ways that my community high school could not. Being able to attend a private college preparatory high school ignited my potential and allowed me to think in a broader sense and gave me the confidence of knowing I could be successful in business and finance.

Please join me in providing Murphy Scholars with the courage to think outside the box by equipping them with the necessary educational resources to succeed and making it possible for them to dream bigger.

Whether you are a current Murphy Scholar supporter or a prospective one, I ask that you join me and consider pledging your support behind EEI through a gift of education to benefit one, two or even four Murphy Scholars. Your commitment will positively impact the trajectory of a young person’s life while igniting their potential. Help us celebrate excellence by supporting EEI.

Thank you, DMSF! Without you, I would not be where I am today. DMSF has made me a better person and student.
