Jamia Jackson is a dedicated professional and alum of DMSF, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her role as the Manager of Education. A proud southside native, Jamia graduated from Mother McAuley in 2016 before pursuing her academic journey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and later obtained her Masters in Social Work from Aurora University. With a profound commitment to community service, Jamia has gained valuable experience working with students facing social, emotional, and learning challenges.
Her journey has come full circle as she returns to DMSF, where it all began for her in 2012. Her enthusiasm for making a positive impact on the lives of DMSF scholars and their families is evident in her dedication to building strong personal and professional relationships. As an alum, Jamia deeply resonates with the mission of DMSF and views her role as an opportunity to give back to the community that shaped her. Her genuine excitement lies in connecting with current DMSF scholars and families, fostering an environment of support and encouragement.
